Accident insurance brings to your life the comfort of security. Unpleasant events can happen to you or your child that could reduce your activity even if it is not your fault. We do not promise you that we can protect you or your children against injury but we guarantee that in the case of injury we will help you to overcome the worst.

Accident insurance protects you and your child in the case of injury that occurred during your free time at home or outdoor, at school, when playing recreational sports or travelling anywhere in the world. The accident insurance can be underwritten independently or as an additional insurance policy within your life insurance.

What does the accident insurance protect me against?

The accident insurance covers the following situations:

Lasting injury effects,
Accidental death,
Optional injury treatment (daily compensation).

Accident insurance for adults

You can determine the amount of indemnity you will receive for the injury treatment period within the range of 100 CZK to 500 CZK per day. The indemnity will be paid from the 15th or 29th day of the injury treatment according to your choice.

You can also determine the amount of the sum insured for the case of lasting injury effects and choose the degree of corporeal damage from which the insurance benefit will be paid to you. Moreover, you can fix the progressive loss payment that will ensure payment of up to four times the amount of the chosen sum insured.

In the case of accidental death your relatives will receive the sum of 200,000 CZK up to 1,000,000 CZK.

Accident insurance for children

Accident insurance for children represents a full range of insurance protection, therefore it includes the following:

Indemnity in case of lasting injury effects from under 1 % of corporeal damage,
Up to quadruple compensation in cases of serious corporeal damage,
Indemnity for treatment of an injury up to the 15th day of treatment,
Insurance in the case of accidental death.

David has a family. He works as a dispatcher and often travels by car. Therefore he knows that car accidents can happen every day. He has underwritten accident insurance at the ČSOB Pojišťovna insurance company to protect his family in the case of any misfortune.

Effected insurance:
- Insurance in the case of accidental death (sum insured of 600,000 CZK)
- Insurance in the case of treatment of an injury (daily compensation of 200 CZK)
- Insurance in the case of lasting injuries with progressive loss payment (insured sum of 600,000 CZK), which means that in the case of a serious accident, he and his family will receive up to 2,400,000 CZK
Regular monthly insurance premium: 406 CZK
